Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom – Sepapa Shrine Puzzle Guide

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Sepapa Shrine Puzzle can stump you if you’re not careful. You’ll need to use your Rewind ability to work through the Backtrack puzzles. Here’s a look at how to complete the Sepapa Shrine puzzle.

How to solve the Sepapa Shrine Puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Sepapa Shrine is found in the Central Hyrule region. The Backtrack puzzles will task you with using your Recall ability to make it through the Shrine.

As you enter the Sepapa Shrine, head up the stairs and use your Rewind ability to make the platform move backward.

Once you’re on top of the ledge, you’ll see a big body of water and a gate. Next to the gate, you’ll find a torch on the ground that you need to pick up. With the torch in hand, walk over to the water and hop on the platform. As you go by the flames, swing the torch to ignite it.

Once you’ve made it to the other side, use the torch to ignite the brush on the wall. This will drop down the hidden chest in the Sepapa Shrine, which will give you a Strong Construct Bow.

Now, back to the Backtrack puzzle, wait for a platform to get close to you then use your Rewind ability to make the platform float back towards the gate.

Hop on and re-light your torch when you go by the flames. Once you’re back at the gate, use the torch to light the two pedestals and the gate will open.

For the final part of the Sepapa Shrine puzzle, head right through the gate and run up the ramp. At the top, you’ll find a ball that you can pick up.

Carry the ball to the lower bowl and drop it. This will open the first gate. Head towards the gate and go through the first gate and you’ll be able to see the bowls across the gap.

Use your Recall ability on the ball to call it back up to the pedestal. When the ball is over the other bowl, stop the Recall so that it drops into the hole. This will open the second gate. Head through the gate and you’ll receive the Light of Blessing and will have completed the Sepapa Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
