Coachella Rocks Back Into Fortnite With New Quests And Cosmetics

The Coachella Music Festival kicks off nine days of music and parties this Friday, and the festival is once again celebrating with Fortnite through in-game cosmetics, quests, and a brand-new Creative island to explore.

Coachella Island will be available in Fortnite Creative from April 14 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET until April 28 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. The island will feature team-based minigames, a special Art Park section, and a soundtrack of songs from Coachella performer Porter Robinson. Players can access Coachella Island using island code 5449-4207-1280.

Two sets of Coachella-themed quests will be available during the Fortnite Coachella event, with the first set becoming available at the same time as Coachella Island and the second appearing one week later, April 21 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. Rewards for completing the Coachella quests are as follows:

Alto and Lyric–the two Fortnite characters that debuted during last year’s Coachella event–are back as well, with new variants hitting the Item Shop along with the previous skins and other cosmetics. The new Sunset Alto and Desert Lyric skins will be available both by themselves and in a bundle with other cosmetics included.

The Item Shop will also bring back the Wilder and Poet skins from last year’s Coachella event, while adding brand-new emotes based on songs from Burna Boy and Bad Bunny–the Slide Strine and Ask Me emotes, respectively–beginning April 13 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.

Fortnite is available to download now for free on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices.
