The Callisto Protocol is a gruesome new survival horror game arriving on December 2. It’s launching on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and it’s shaping up to be one of the grisliest games of 2022. The Day One edition of The Callisto Protocol includes only the base game and any eligible preorder bonuses. You’ll find digital copies on PSN and Steam, although Microsoft is yet to open preorders on Xbox.

The Callisto Protocol is a narrative-driven survival horror game that takes place on one of Jupiter’s many moons. You’ll play as Jacob Lee, a character that’s trying to survive life in a maximum-security prison when inmates mysteriously begin turning into bloodthirsty creatures. To make it out alive, he’ll need to make use of a variety of melee and long-ranged weapons–and the action is just as bloody as you’d expect.
