Now Playing: Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – The Three Lords Trailer

The new story has hunters facing off against three powerful new creatures known as the Three Lords: Garangolm, the Fanged Wyvern Lunagaron, and the Elder Dragon Malzeno.

Monster Hunter fans will have three options for purchasing Sunbreak. The regular digital-only edition costs $40, while the $50 Deluxe Edition will include a handful of bonus content such as new armor sets, gestures, and hairstyles. There’s also a limited-edition Collector’s Edition offering the same digital rewards as the Deluxe Edition, as well as physical loot including a sticker pack, enamel pin, steelbook case, and a Malzeno Amiibo. None of these options include the base Monster Hunter Rise game, however.

All players who pre-order any version of the game will get the Loyal Dog and Striped Cat armor sets for their Palamute and Palico companions. There will also be three new Malzeno-inspired Amiibo for Switch players, which will also unlock special armor for Palamute and Palico companions.
