Thanks to Prime Day, you can nab a ton of Marvel-themed board games at some great discounts. The games on sale run the gamut of gameplay experiences, starting with Marvel Champions, a strategic card game that already has a bunch of expansions. You can grab it for $40, which is 50% off its usual sticker price of $80.
Marvel Champions lets players take the role of beloved heroes like Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Captain America and work together to stop the schemes of various villains. It’s a deck-building game, so your take on a superhero won’t be the same as someone else’s, and you can play it alone or cooperatively with up to three friends. Amazon is also offering Marvel Champions expansions as part of the sale. You can grab the Guardians of the Galaxy-themed set, The Galaxy’s Most Wanted, for $28.49, or Sinister Motives, a Spider-Man-focused scenario that features the Sinister Six, for $33.49–both are usually $45.
If you want something even more involved, there’s Marvel Crisis Protocol, a game that uses miniatures to create your battles to either save the world or conquer it, or Marvel Splendor, a standalone, Thanos-infused take on the acclaimed card-based strategy game Splendor. But if you want something more traditional, there’s always Monopoly: Marvel Avengers Edition, Marvel’s take on the classic capitalism simulator.
In all cases, if you see a board game you want, you’ll want to take advantage of these deals sooner rather than later. All of them are Lightning deals, which means they only last for a certain period of time or until the inventory has been snatched up, and several of these deals have already seen a bunch of their units claimed–so they likely won’t last for much longer. Check out the full list of notable Marvel board game deals below.
