Stealth-Action Game Aragami 2 Launches Day One On Xbox Game Pass This September

Following its Guerrilla Collective gameplay showcase, developer Lince Works announced during Xbox and Bethesda’s E3 2021 livestream that its stealth-action game Aragami 2 will hit Xbox Game Pass on September 17.

Lince Works unveiled two new gameplay trailers showcasing the abilities and combat you will engage in with Aragami 2. The game follows the same loop as Aragami, Lince Works’ 2019 title with DNA firmly rooted in Tenchu. One aspect that’s different in the sequel, however, is its close-quarters combat.

In the original title, you could only perform stealth kills to take down targets and escape when spotted. Aragami 2 opens combat up, letting you defend yourself if an assassination fails; no longer must you tuck tail and run. Now, in the sequel, you can fight your targets in close-quarters melee combat.

Xbox’s subscription service has made headlines throughout E3 2021, confirming that a bunch of huge games–such as Back 4 Blood and Psychonauts 2–will hit Game Pass the same day they launch worldwide. We have a running list of every E3 2021 title confirmed for the service.

E3 2021 is still underway, so be sure to hit up our Play for All hub for all the latest news and reveals from the trade show, as well as exclusive content such as interviews, gameplay trailers, announcements, and much more.

Aragami 2 launches on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 17.
