Director David O. Russell is assembling one of the biggest casts of Hollywood stars we’ve ever seen in a single project for his next film. After Rami Malek signed on to the film this week, Deadline reports that the movie has added a number of other huge names to its cast.
These include Robert DeNiro, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alessandro Nivola.
The movie already had a cast that included Malek, Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, and Zoe Saldana.
The project remains largely a mystery, as no plot details have been divulged so far. What we do know is that it’s an original idea that the five-time Oscar nominee Russell came up with.
Russell also directed The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle. He was at one point attached to direct the Uncharted movie before he left the project.
