Fans of The Office will be able to watch never-before-seen footage of Season 1 starting today on Peacock. Jokes and scenes that haven’t been available before will see the light of day with what Peacock is calling the Superfan Episodes.
These episodes feature interviews, featurettes, and bloopers from the first season of the hit NBC series. Check out a video featuring some of these moments below.
Earlier this year, Peacock did this same thing for Season 3 of the series–and you can check out what’s contained in the Superfan Episodes here. Peacock has plans to do this for more seasons of The Office. There were plans for Season 4 to arrive back in March, but as of this writing, only Seasons 1 and 3 have these Superfan Episodes.
While Peacock has a free tier, you’ll need a Premium ($5 a month) or Premium Plus ($10 a month) subscription in order to watch these Superfan Episodes–or any episodes of The Office in general. The difference between the two tiers–aside from price–is that Premium Plus is ad-free.
There was a reboot of The Office in the works, dating back to 2018. While things were slowly coming together for years, series creator Greg Daniels said back in January that it’s not in active development. The Office reboot isn’t completely out of the question for the future, though.
Peacock has been making some big moves in the past year. While the streaming service lost near $1 billion in 2020, the service recently gained all of WWE’s back catalog and streaming rights to PPVs.
