Now Playing: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Official "Season Two Reloaded" Trailer
In other Warzone news, the game’s sixth new weapon to be added to Warzone (and Black Ops Cold War) arrived this week in the form of the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle.
Activision has also cleaned up Warzone a little more, recently banning a whopping 15,000 more accounts for cheating and other offending behavior. The Verdansk map might not be long for this world, as it’s rumored that the map will get blown up at the end of Season 2 this month to make way for a new, ’80s-themed map based on Black Ops Cold War.
In addition to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, Activision’s Sledgehammer Games is reportedly working on a new Call of Duty game set in World War II for release this fall. Call of Duty was also in the news recently when two maps disappeared from Modern Warfare.
