Paranormal Activity 7 On The Way From Underwater Director And Happy Death Day Writer

The next Paranormal Activity movie has found its director and writer. The seventh film in the hugely successful found footage horror franchise will be directed by Will Eubank (Underwater) and written by Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paranormal Activity 7 will hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Prior to writing and directing the two Happy Death Day movies, Landon wrote or co-wrote four of the previous Paranormal Activity movies, as well as directing the fourth, 2014’s Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Eubank helmed last year’s aquatic monster movie Underwater, plus the indie sci-fi films The Signal and Love.
