Disney Dreamlight Valley Adds New Villagers, Major Multiplayer Improvements In May Update

Gameloft has revealed that Disney Dreamlight Valley will receive the Thrills & Frills update on May 1, bringing some exciting additions to the base game alongside Act II of the A Rift in Time expansion.

All owners of Disney Dreamlight Valley will be able to befriend Daisy Duck as part of the free May 1 update, and she’ll be the owner of a brand-new boutique in the valley. Here, players can sell their custom Touch of Magic designs to those who visit their village and unlock all-new items for customization.

Speaking of visitors, multiplayer is also receiving some highly requested improvements. Players will now be able to take selfies together and engage in gameplay activities like cooking, crafting, mining, gardening, and fishing. These changes bring the game more in line with its contemporaries, offering plenty more reasons for visiting other players.

Unsurprisingly, the Thrills & Frills update will also include an all-new Star Path featuring Dream Styles for Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse alongside popular Disney Parks rides like the Alien Swirling Saucers and Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

For those who picked up the paid A Rift in Time expansion, Gameloft has prepared Act II: The Spark of Imagination, which will provide a new main story questline and introduce Oswald the Lucky Rabbit as a new villager. There will also be fresh Scramblecoin figurines and an extra upgrade to the Royal Hourglass introduced in Act I.

You can dive into Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Thrills & Frills update on May 1 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
