Xenoblade Chronicles Games For Nintendo Switch Get Rare Discounts

Xenoblade Chronicles games rarely go on sale, but seeing the entire trilogy get some great discounts for Cyber Monday? That’s a deal worth writing home to. One of Nintendo’s best franchises and a fine example of developer Monolith Soft using black magic to craft impressive sci-fantasy action on the Switch, all three of these games are must-have titles for JRPG fans. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 can be purchased for $39 each (down from $60). Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was on sale for $40, but it has sold out, so you’ll have to settle for a $50 copy from Amazon.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition (Digital) — $39 ($60)Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Digital) — $39 ($60)Xenoblade Chronicles 3 — $50 ($60)

It’s worth noting that Walmart’s $39 price on the digital edition of the first two games is the best, but it’s not the only deal. If Walmart sells out, you can get Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for $42 each at Amazon.

Originally released in 2010, Xenoblade Chronicles got a fresh lease on life in 2020 when it landed on Switch. While some of its gameplay can feel dated, overall, this is a game with a deep and rewarding combat system, smart quality-of-like tweaks, and a brand-new epilogue that ends the game on a more satisfying note. First released for the Switch in 2017, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 isn’t a perfect sequel, but for fans of the series, it still has its charm. It’s a game that requires you to sink plenty of hours into its ambitious narrative and beautiful environments, and once you do, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 finds its groove with hard-hitting twists and multi-layered gameplay.

Finally, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 delivers a heartfelt adventure with some of the best combat mechanics in the series to date. It has a fantastic story with some unexpected twists, it looks magnificent on the Switch, and it has an all-time banger of a soundtrack to listen to. There are still plenty of other great Switch games to look at before they revert back to their regular prices, so don’t miss out on your chance to score some of Nintendo’s first-party hits at their best prices yet.
