If you’re feeling nostalgic for cartridge-based handheld gaming and are a big fan of retro games, Blaze Entertainment’s Evercade might just be for you. Right now, Amazon is offering a rare discount on the Evercade EXP, dropping the price from $150 to $127.49. The lovely successor to the original Evercade comes preloaded with 18 retro Capcom titles and is bundled with the IREM Arcade cartridge. Prime members can get fast and free shipping.

If the price is still a bit steep for your liking, check out Blaze’s upcoming Super Pockets, which cost $60 each and support the Evercade cartridge library.

Featuring an 800×480 IPS display, Wi-Fi support, the ability to output video in 720p, and battery life that runs for up to five hours, the Evercade EXP is a solid little device. The EXP adds TATE mode, which allows you to play select games with a vertical screen orientation.

This bundle comes with an IREM cart that includes R-Type, Moon Patrol, In the Hunt, Battle Chopper, Lightning Swords, and 10-Yard Fight. The IREM cart will get you started, but Blaze Entertainment continues to add to its library of carts, with lines focused on classic console and arcade games. As mentioned, the EXP also has a built-in library of Capcom games that are exclusive to the Evercade EXP–you can’t get these on the original Evercade or Evercade VS home console. Here’s a look at all 18 titles that come with your Evercade EXP:

Our Evercade EXP review found the device to be incredibly compelling for retro gamers thanks to its solid construction and a deep library of games.

“The Evercade EXP, an updated version of the original handheld, is the best Evercade yet,” wrote critic Steven Petite. “If you’re interested in 8- and 16-bit console and arcade games, the Evercade EXP offers a fantastic way to play physical cartridge collections in a portable form factor.”

We’re not sure how long this deal will last, so be sure to check it out while you can. Also, make sure to take a look at Blaze’s upcoming Super Pocket handhelds, which release on November 14.
