A limited-time World of Warcraft bundle aimed at new players isn’t just a great deal for those who have never played Blizzard’s MMORPG; it’s a good deal for existing players, too.
The Welcome to Azeroth bundle, released alongside Blizzard’s announcement of the release date for WoW’s 10th expansion, The War Within, includes two months of game time, a level 60 character boost, and the game’s most recent Dragonflight expansion. The bundle is $25 but is only available until June 24.

That’s a pretty good deal, especially for players who haven’t yet picked up Dragonflight but are looking to get set up ahead of The War Within and would otherwise need to preorder the new expansion for $50 to access Dragonflight. The fact that it also includes two months of game time (normally $30) and a level 60 character boost (for reference, a max-level character boost costs $60), is icing on the cake.
But it’s a good deal for existing players as well. WoW players always need game time, and buying the bundle, which is available for purchase for those who are already currently playing the game, will save players a few bucks on a two-month subscription. It’s especially a good deal for those who want to have a new character ready to go for The War Within or just have a boost in their back pocket for whenever they need it, as the boosts don’t expire and can be used at any time.
Even for those who aren’t interested in Dragonflight, 60 days of game time also grants access to WoW Classic Season of Discovery, WoW Cataclysm Classic, and the ongoing Mists of Pandaria Remix event, all at a discount.
WoW: The War Within will launch on August 26 (or three days early on August 22 for those who purchase the game’s Epic Edition), and will kick off a new three-expansion storyline Blizzard is calling The Worldsoul Saga. The War Within will introduce new Hero Talents for each class, cross-account progression in the form of Warbands, and a new endgame activity designed for solo players and small groups called Delves. A WoW 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition for The War Within is still available for preorder.
