After HBO Max Removal, Infinity Train DVDs Are Sold Out And Going For Wild Prices On eBay

Coming off the announcement of HBO Max removing some of its Cartoon Network programming from streaming, the physical copies of these shows started selling out at retailers. In the case of Infinity Train, you can purchase episodes on Amazon Prime, but searching Walmart, Amazon, and even Best Buy, everything is sold out or “temporarily out of stock.”

The question now is whether the products were pulled or bought up by fans or people looking to flip on the secondhand market or watch in their own home. Just quickly glancing at eBay, DVDs of Infinity Train are going for $200 and up. The first season is being listed at $500.

Infinity Train was created by Owen Dennis, who was previously a writer and storyboard artist on another Cartoon Network hit, Regular Show. The pilot was originally released by Cartoon Network on November 1, 2016, before being picked up for a full miniseries, which premiered on August 5, 2019.

After the first season ended, Cartoon Network announced that Infinity Train would continue as an anthology series instead. The fourth season, its most recent, was released in its entirety on April 15, 2021, on HBO Max. Dennis expressed his dismay over the decision on Twitter in only a way he could.

GameSpot has reached out to these stores and Warner Bros. Discovery for comment.
