Marvel has released the first trailer for Agatha All Along, and it’s a real trip. The trailer is best seen without any further explanation because it takes a number of twists and turns.
Like WandaVision before it, it seems Agatha All Along–which stars Kathryn Hahn as the title character–has many mysteries that will unravel as the show unfolds. The trailer also shows off some genuinely scary sequences. Take a look:
Agatha is joined by Lilia (Patti LuPone), Jennifer (Sasheer Zamata), Sharon (Debra Jo Rupp, who previously appeared in WandaVision), and Alice (Ali Ahn). “What they have in common is that they’re covenless witches,” series creator Jac Schaeffer told Empire. “Witches are defined by deception, treachery, villainy, and selfishness. What do you do when you have a group of witches who [demonstrate] those notions and you need them to work together?”
Schaeffer went on to say that Agatha All Along will show other sides of Agatha, and she may have some less-dark sides to her. “We certainly didn’t want a one-dimensional nasty witch,” Schaeffer said. “We will have moments where we see Agatha’s true heart.”
Aubrey Plaza and Joe Locke also star in Agatha All Along. A new poster has been revealed as well–check it out below.
Agatha All Along premieres September 18 on Disney+, and the first two episodes will arrive that day. In other Marvel news, the highly anticipated movie Deadpool and Wolverine comes to theaters this July, and a new trailer is out now.
