The Nintendo Switch eShop library continues to grow at a fast rate, with 41 new games landing over the next week. The biggest names are a trio of RPGs: Fire Emblem Engage, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden.
Fire Emblem Engage is the latest release in the strategy-RPG series–the 17th core entry, to be exact. The game has seen favorable praise from critics, though the story seems to be lacking compared to Three Houses.

Now Playing: Fire Emblem Engage Everything To Know
“While Fire Emblem’s combat mechanics have never been better, Engage’s story and structure lack the ambition of its predecessors,” writes Jake Dekker in GameSpot’s Fire Emblem Engage review. “The result is a predictable and straightforward romp that’s carried by its fantastic presentation and engaging combat.”
Meanwhile, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden (which can also be bought in a bundle) are two classic RPGs and fan-favorites. This is the first time both titles have been available on a Nintendo platform.
Nintendo is still offering a double-gold-points promotion for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers. That means on eligible games and DLC, buyers will get 10% on whatever they pay–say $6 on a $60 title–to use toward a future purchase on the eShop. The offer lasts until January 31.
