Aragami 2 Gameplay Trailer Shows Stylish Action, Out On PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 on September 17

Revealed during the Guerilla Collective showcase at E3 2021, developer Lince Works has provided an extensive new look at its upcoming stealth action game sequel, Aragami 2. The sequel is set to launch on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 on September 17.

The sequel to Aragami follows closely in the footsteps of the original in terms of style, with a familiar cell-shaded look that pops with vivid color to create a memorable presentation. Aragami 2 once again lets you become a magically-imbued assassin, letting you utilize numerous abilities to blend into shadows, confuses and commit enemies to fighting each other, and multiple ways to strike from the dark and escape in a moment’s notice.

The extended gameplay also dives into the game’s direct combat, which you’ll need to engage with when spotted. Taking inspiration from intense samurai duels, the combat in Aragami 2 looks precise and purposeful, but gives you enough movement freedom to dash around encounters and parry strikes from all directions. It doesn’t look like you’ll be able to take on too many foes at once though, so stealth is still the preferred option of engagement,

You can check out both the sneak preview and full eight-minute gameplay walkthrough above. Also be sure to check out GameSpot’s Play for All hub for all the news from E3 2021 and beyond, including the highlights from conferences by Xbox, the Summer Games Fest, and more.
