Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s release date has been moved up one week from October 12 to October 5. The game has also gone gold.
Ubisoft said, “Congratulations to all of our hard-working teams, we’re so proud of you all and can’t wait to show everyone what they’ve been working on with an earlier launch this October 5!”

Now Playing: Assassin's Creed Mirage: Basim – The Master Assassin
October is an incredibly busy month with big game releases. Within Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s original release week, Forza Motorsport and Lords of the Fallen are scheduled to launch as well. During the week right after, Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be released.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage isn’t the only game this year that saw the rare move to shift its release date forward. Larian Studios launched Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC on August 3, which was previously scheduled for August 31; September 6 is the new delayed date for PS5.
The game is apparently three times shorter than Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Ubisoft revealed that it has no DLC plans for it at the moment. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
