Asus ROG Ally
$600-$700
The Asus ROG Ally is the manufacturer’s answer to the Steam Deck. Though the Windows handheld is slightly pricier than the most expensive Steam Deck ($649), its specifications, as you’ll see below, are more impressive than Valve’s handhelds.

Asus ROG Raikiri Pro Controller
$170
This pro-style controller is specifically designed for the ROG Ally. It has four remappable back buttons that can be assigned to inputs or even used to adjust joystick sensitivity. It also has trigger locks with customizable dead zones, which you can adjust using Asus’ proprietary Armoury Crate app. It comes with an OLED display, a built-in DAC, and can connect via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz or USB-C.
Asus ROG Ally Travel Case
$40
An official carrying case is available for $40. It’s available now.
Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Gaming Earbuds
$100
The ROG Cetra are wireless earbuds with a low-latency wireless connection. They support active noise cancellation and offer a total of 27 hours of battery life with the included wireless charging case. Since they are designed with the ROG Ally (and other ROG devices) in mind, they interact with the Armoury Crate app to adjust EQ and virtual 7.1 sound settings. The ROG Cetra earbuds are available now. The white earbuds shown above match the ROG Ally, but you can also grab a pair of black Cetra earbuds for $80 right now.

Asus ROG 65W Charger Dock
$65
If you want to dock your ROG Ally, Asus has an official solution, though it’s not a traditional dock. Instead, it’s an AC adapter with HDMI 2.0 and USB 2.0 ports. You’d probably want to pair this with a third-party stand.
Asus ROG Raikiri Wireless Controller
$100
The cheaper model of the Raikiri is $100. This controller only has two back buttons. It has trigger locks, the built-in DAC, and customization via Armoury Crate. It’s currently sold out.
Asus ROG Delta S Wireless Headphones
$160 (was $200)
The ROG Delta S wireless headphones support both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth wireless controllers, a first for a ROG headset. The Delta S has 50mm Asus Essence custom drivers and AI beamforming microphones that cancel background noise. It gets up to 25 hours of battery life on a full charge and can get three hours of juice from just 15 minutes of charging. Though made with the ROG Ally and other ROG products in mind, the Delta S is compatible with PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, PC/Mac, and any Bluetooth-supported device.
Asus ROG XG Mobile eGPU – RTX 3080
$1,500
If you want to use the ROG Ally as a desktop gaming machine, Asus’ ROG XG mobile eGPU docks will significantly boost graphical performance. These compact devices that plug into your ROG Ally (or laptop) are very expensive, though. You can get a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU for $1,500.

Since the ROG Ally is exclusive to Best Buy, it’s certainly possible that the handheld could go in and out of stock. Keep in mind that the Steam Deck is also readily available to purchase directly from Valve. On the Windows handheld front, the Ally is joining a constantly growing market, including the very impressive and high-performing Ayaneo series of portable gaming PCs. Ayaneo has some great smaller options for those who think 7-inch gaming handhelds are a bit too big.
