Best CoD: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Loadouts And Guns

Call of Duty’s Season 4 Reloaded arrived with one of the biggest weapon balancing passes we’ve seen for Warzone, which Raven Software made with the overall goal of increasing the average time-to-kill and making more weapons viable.

Some of Warzone‘s nerfs to popular weapons such as the FARA 83 assault rifle and the Bullfrog submachine gun still leave them as solid choices, but this mid-season update definitely evens the playing field for those wanting to branch out with other guns like the QBZ-83 assault rifle or Bruen Mk9 light machine gun.

Here are some recommended gun setups to try in your next match of Warzone.

Best QBZ-83 Loadout

Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update added a nice damage buff to Cold War’s QBZ-83 assault rifle, making it a strong choice for anyone looking to try something other than the recently popular Krig-6 or FARA 83.

Recommended QBZ-83 Attachments

Best Krig-6 Loadout

Cold War’s Krig-6 still serves as a standout choice for assault rifles in Warzone. This is a really popular choice for being an easy-to-handle assault rifle, and with the attachments recommended below, you can get very little recoil and beef up your ammo count.

Recommended Krig-6 Attachments

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorBarrel: 19.7″ RangerUnderbarrel: Field Agent GripAmmunition: STANAG 60 RndOptic: Axial Arms 3x

Best CR58 Loadout

Even after the recent nerf, Cold War’s CR58 assault rifle is still quite the contender as a long-range weapon for Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded. This is a heavy-hitting assault rifle that will pair nicely with something like the Ak-74u submachine gun.

Recommended CR58 Attachments

Muzzle: Agency suppressorBarrel: 18.5″ Task ForceUnderbarrel: Field Agent GripAmmunition: STANAG 55 RndOptic: Axial Arms 3x or personal preference

Best Bruen Mk9 Loadout

Season 4’s recently added MG82 light machine gun didn’t stand the test of time. The gun was only viable while “broken” in Warzone with very little recoil. Now that Raven Software nerfed the newest light machine gun, many players are turning to an old favorite, Modern Warfare’s Bruen Mk9. With attachments like the Tac Laser, you can rock this light machine gun in Warzone with very little penalty to your aim-down-sight speed. It’s also a very accurate option in the light machine gun class.

Recommended Bruen Mk9 Attachments

Best OTs 9 Loadout

Cold War’s brand-new OTs 9 submachine gun is quickly gaining popularity in Warzone. While it definitely has worse range than the other Cold War submachine guns, its low recoil and solid handling make it powerful for close-range gunfights. You just need to unlock the right attachments before adding this gun to one of your Loadouts. You shouldn’t really need a grip or underbarrel attachment since this submachine gun shoots pretty accurately, but you’ll want to equip something like the Spetsnaz 40 Rnd to bump up your ammo count.

Recommended OTs 9 Attachments

Best Ak-74u Loadout

Cold War’s Ak-74u submachine gun received an increase to bullet velocity and the upper torso multiplier in Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded, making it a viable option to pair with your favorite long-range weapon.

Recommended Ak-74u Attachments

Best Swiss K-31 Loadout

Cold War’s Swiss K-31 sniper received improvements to its aiming stability and ADS speed in Season 3, and it continues to gain traction in Season 4 as a popular choice over Modern Warfare’s Kar98k.

Star Wars Outlaws Update Aims To Make Stealth Missions Less Frustrating

A new patch has gone live for Star Wars Outlaws, and the key takeaway from …

Best CoD: Warzone Season 4 Loadouts And Guns

If you’re still using the same guns from Season 3, your loadouts are going to be a bit outdated for this new season of Call of Duty: Warzone. Raven Software made some pretty impactful weapon tuning with the launch of Season 4, nerfing some overpowered weapons like the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle and Streetsweeper shotgun, while buffing some less popular choices. Changes to the barrel attachments for Cold War’s assault rifles and light machine guns will also require a little tweaking to your assault rifle loadouts.

Warzone Season 3 gave a pretty good mix of weapons to use, but Season 4’s balancing changes give the healthiest weapon pool variety we’ve ever seen in Warzone. Instead of getting sent to the gulag by the same overpowered weapon, players are branching out and using a variety of guns.

And this is just the start of what Raven has called “sweeping balance changes” to weapons with the aim of bringing the average time to kill to between 60-100 milliseconds. We’ll be updating our loadout recommendations as more weapon tuning changes arrive to Call of Duty: Warzone.

For now, here are some recommended gun builds to try in your next match of Warzone.

Best MG82 Loadout

The MG82 is Cold War’s newest light machine gun that arrived with Season 4, which has been absolutely beaming in Warzone with very little recoil. This is probably the only overpowered “broken” weapon currently found in Warzone, and Raven already announced a nerf is coming soon. However, if you’re wanting to make a class before or even after the nerf, there are certain attachments you’ll want to unlock and equip.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorBarrel: 16.4″ Task Force BarrelAmmunition: Fast MagRear Grip: Airborne Elastic WrapOptic: Axial Arms 3x

Best FARA 83 Loadout

Cold War’s FARA 83 assault rifle is still a contender, and after the most recent nerf to the CR-56 AMAX, this might be one of the best assault rifles for Warzone. The FARA can be built as a great long-range weapon to be paired with a submachine gun.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: GRU SuppressorBarrel: 7″ Spetsnaz RPK BarrelAmmunition: Spetsnaz 60 RndRear Grip: GRU Elastic WrapOptic: Axial Arms 3x

Best CR58 Loadout

The CR58 is Cold War’s newest assault rifle added at the start of Season 4. In addition to the FARA 83, the CR58 is also a solid choice to replace the CR-56 AMAX for a long-range option to pair with a submachine gun.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorBarrel: 18.5″ Task ForceAmmunition: STANAG 55 RndRear Grip: Airborne Elastic WrapOptic: Axial Arms 3x

Best XM4 Loadout

The XM4 assault rifle has always been viable, but receiving an additional buff for Season 4 makes it even more of a contender for the mid-range assault rifle. This assault rifle is great for pairing with a sniper.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorLaser: Tiger Team SpotlightStock: Raider PadAmmunition: 45 RndRear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap

Best Stoner 63 Loadout

In addition to the MG82, the Stoner 63 is another solid light machine gun choice for Warzone, especially with Season 4’s buff to bullet velocity and effective damage range on the Task Force barrel. Just combine the Task Force barrel with Fast Mag and a Rear Grip attachment to help with the speed of wielding such a hefty weapon.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorBarrel: 21.8″ Task ForceAmmunition: Fast MagRear Grip: Airborne Elastic WrapAxials Arms 3x

Best Milano Loadout

Previously, the Milano was an undesirable submachine gun for Warzone, but Season 4’s balancing update brings this weapon from peashooter to a viable secondary weapon to pair with your favorite long-range gun. The PPSh-41, MAC-10, and LC10 submachine guns are all still popular in Season 4, but the Milano’s damage buffs make this a new contender for Warzone.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorBarrel: 10.6″ Task ForceLaser: Tiger Team SpotlightStock: Raider StockAmmunition: STANAG 55 Rnd Drum

Best Kar98k Loadout

Modern Warfare’s Kar98k marksman rifle is still a top-tier sniper choice in Season 4, which pairs nicely with something like the mid-range XM4 build or the Milano submachine gun.

Recommended attachments:

Muzzle: Monolithic SuppressorBarrel: Singuard Custom 27.6″ BarrelLaser: Tac LaserOptic: Sniper ScopeStock: STVOL Precision Comb

Again, the weapon balance is really healthy in Warzone, so if you don’t want to try something new like the Milano build, you won’t get punished for keeping guns like the PPSh-41, MAC-10, and LC10 in your loadouts. There is a great variety of submachine guns options for Season 4. However, the nerf to the Streetsweeper was pretty significant, so it’s time to put away that shotgun and try a new secondary.

Star Wars Outlaws Update Aims To Make Stealth Missions Less Frustrating

A new patch has gone live for Star Wars Outlaws, and the key takeaway from …

Best CoD: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded Loadouts And Guns

Call of Duty’s Season 3 Reloaded update for Warzone brought a small weapon balancing pass that shakes up the gun meta just slightly. You might also want to adjust the muzzle attachment on some of your classes if you’re looking to use the best Warzone loadout possible.

Not only did the PPSh-41 and Swiss K31 get buffs in Warzone to make them even more viable options for your Warzone loadouts, buffs to the suppressor make it one of your best options for muzzle attachments. The suppressor no longer reduces bullet velocity, and instead it increases bullet velocity, ADS speed, and sprint to fire speed. So, depending on your playstyle, the suppressor is now potentially a better choice than the recently popular GRU suppressor. If you’re more inclined to take long-range gunfights, the GRU suppressor is still your best option, but for a mid-to-close range assault rifle setup, you might want to switch to the standard suppressor.

Here are some updated recommended gun setups to try in your next match of Warzone.

Best RAM-7 Loadout

Thanks to Season 3 updates, the RAM-7 is now a top-tier option for Warzone, replacing the AK-47 as the best assault rifle for fastest time to kill, but you’ll need to make sure you’re equipped with the best attachments to make the most of this assault rifle.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Monolithic suppressorBarrel: FSS RangerUnderbarrel: Commando ForegripAmmunition: 50 Round MagsOptic: VLK 3.0x or personal preference

Best CR-56 AMAX Loadout

The CR-56 AMAX assault rifle is still a top choice as a long- to mid-range option in Warzone right now. It still has more recoil than the FFAR 1 had last season, but equipping something like the Commando Foregrip attachment can help with that.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Monolithic suppressorBarrel: XRK ZodiacUnderbarrel: Commando ForegripAmmunition: 45-round magOptic: Honestly, optics always come down to more of personal preference and playstyle. Personally, I never go higher than a 3x optic on any of my assault rifles, and I run the Viper Reflex Sight on my AMAX build, but just pick something that feels comfortable for your long-distance gunfights. Maybe you prefer a 4x hybrid optic or a thermal scope.

Best FARA 83 Loadout

Cold War’s FARA 83 assault rifle is still a contender for a mid-range option, and this gun is a great choice to pair as a secondary to a sniper, marksman rifle, or the CR-56 AMAX. However, for that mid-range build, you’ll likely want to swap the GRU suppressor for the new benefits of the standard suppressor.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: SuppressorBarrel: 14.8″ UltralightStock: KGB Skeletal StockAmmunition: Spetsnaz 50-round magRear Grip: Serpent Wrap

Best Krig-6 Loadout

The Krig-6 is another Cold War assault rifle that wasn’t a smart Warzone choice prior to the Season 3 update, but the recent buffs help this gun kill much faster now. This is not my personal favorite, but it really gets the job done with the right attachments, especially the ones that help beef up the bullet velocity. This can be another long-range option, if you’re looking to use something other than the CR-56 AMAX.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorBarrel: 19.7″ RangerUnderbarrel: Field Agent GripAmmunition: STANAG 60-round magOptic: Optic of your choice

There’s really not a single standout as the meta for submachine guns. However, there are actually a few really solid options for a close-range secondary gun, if you’re not planning on using the FARA or AK-47’s submachine gun-like builds.

Best LC10 Loadout

The MAC-10 has been a dominant submachine gun for the past two seasons, and while it’s still a solid choice even after its recent nerf, the LC10 might actually be set to replace it. Thanks to the recent buff to the bullet velocity, the LC10 is now a strong contender for the submachine class.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Agency SuppressorBarrel: 13.9″ Task ForceUnderbarrel: Field Agent GripAmmunition: 45-round magStock: No Stock

Best PPSh-41 Loadout

The PPSh-41 was already a solid choice, but thanks to damage and range buffs in the Reloaded update, it’s an even more powerful option for Warzone. Plus, it offers great mobility for those who love to run and gun across Verdansk.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: Sound SuppressorBarrel: 15.7″ Task ForceStock: Raider stockUnderbarrel: Bruiser GripAmmunition: 55-round drum

Best MP5 Loadout

Not everyone might agree on the MP5 being as relevant as the Bullfrog or MAC-10, but it’s still a really solid submachine in Warzone. You can use the Cold War or the Modern Warfare version of this submachine gun, as the stats are pretty comparable for both. The Modern Warfare version has slightly better mobility, but Cold War’s MP5 ends up having a slightly faster time-to-kill.

Recommended Attachments:

Muzzle: SuppressorBarrel: 9.5″ Task ForceStock: Raider StockUnderbarrel: Field AgentAmmunition: STANAG 50-round Drum

Best Swiss K-31 Loadout

Cold War’s Swiss K-31 sniper received improvements to its aiming stability and ADS speed, making it a solid contender and now a step above Modern Warfare’s Kar98k.

Recommended attachments:

Muzzle: GRU suppressorBarrel: 24.9″ Combat ReconLaser: SWAT laser sightRear Grip: Serpent gripOptic: Axial Arms 3x or personal preference

The developers have been really proactive with weapon balancing updates in Season 3, something I definitely recommended to help keep Warzone fresh as the seasons progress.
