Warcraft Rumble, Blizzard’s mobile strategy game that turns iconic characters from the Warcraft universe into bite-sized battling miniatures, will launch worldwide on November 3, Blizzard has announced.
It’s the first new game set in the Warcraft universe in nearly a decade, the last being Hearthstone in 2014. The launch will happen the same day as BlizzCon 2023’s opening ceremony, the first in-person Blizzard fan convention since 2019. Warcraft Rumble recently soft-launched in various countries around the world after undergoing a last-minute name change.

Now Playing: Warcraft Rumble | Date Announce Teaser Trailer
Warcraft Rumble includes a single-player campaign, dungeons, PvP battles, and more. Players can collect new miniatures and upgrade them over time, and heroes from the Warcraft universe, like Grommash Hellscream and Jaina Proudmoore, can be deployed to turn the tide of battle.
To celebrate Warcraft Rumble’s imminent release, Blizzard is offering free 3D-printer blueprints for Warcraft Rumble’s minis throughout the month, with this first wave of blueprints being dedicated to the Alliance-themed miniatures featured in the upcoming mobile game. Those who pre-register on iOS and Android will receive a pack of mecha-themed items for when the game launches.
For World of Warcraft players looking to celebrate, Warcraft Rumble arcade machines have appeared throughout Azeroth. By gathering Rumble Coins and Rumble Foils scattered throughout the world, players can unlock and customize minis from Warcraft Rumble to display.
In a recent interview with GameSpot, Warcraft Rumble director Tom Chilton discussed how feedback from the game’s closed beta shaped the Clash Royale-like mobile game. Learnings from the beta led to the addition of a harder, Heroic version of the game’s campaign, as well as the introduction of mini rarities and more talent options for units. Chilton also discussed the unique way players acquire minis, which uses a 3×3 grid of options for players to select from instead of booster packs or loot boxes.
Warcraft Rumble isn’t technically the first Warcraft mobile game, though it is as Blizzard states the first to be built from the ground up for the platform. Hearthstone is also available on mobile devices as well as PC. A mobile Warcraft MMORPG being co-developed by Blizzard and NetEase was reportedly canceled last year.
