With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Treyarch has announced a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that mixes up the familiar Kill Confirmed mode with a lovey-dovey twist.
The mode replaces the dog tags in the Kill Confirmed mode with the candy hearts that people give out to their crushes for Valentine’s Day. The special Kiss Confirmed mode will be available February 11-18 in multiplayer.
Treyarch has also announced that there will be a double weapon XP promo running in Black Ops Cold War and the battle royale game Warzone from February 12-15. Additionally, Battle Pass tiers are discounted from 150 CP to 100 CP from February 12-15 to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I guess.
There are also more store bundles coming to Black Ops Cold War and Warzone this week, including the Tracer Pack: Year of the Ox which includes multiple legendary weapon blueprints such as the Golden Ox assault rifle. The Golden Augx tactical rifle is also included in the bundle featuring increased firepower.
And on the Valentine’s Day front, there is a new “Top Secret Admirer” bundle that comes with the Combat Cupid weapon blueprint that includes a pink tactical rifle with a Cupid inlay. There is also the Hidden Admiration sniper rifle.
Black Ops Cold War isn’t the only game celebrating Valentine’s Day with some mushy-gushy goodness. Epic’s battle royale game Fortnite has revealed a variety of in-game promotions for the holiday.
