A new update is available now for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, adding a playlist for fans of the sniper rifle and a few small changes elsewhere.
The new playlist is Snipers Only Moshpit. Two teams square off in the Team Deathmatch and Domination 6v6 modes, but the twist is you only are equipped with a sniper rifle. All lethal and tactical equipment is disabled, while any weapons you might normally unlock with Scorestreaks are also disabled.

The Snipers Only Moshpit is a limited-time mode, so if it sounds interesting to you, you’ll want to check it out soon before it’s gone.
Developer Treyarch also reminded fans that the Dropkick 6v6 mode remains in rotation this week, alongside Nuketown 24/7, Gunfight, Prop Hunt, and more.
In terms of the gameplay changes, Zombies sees some unspecified stability improvements, while the patch also addresses an issue with Cranked mode that could cause the timer to stay on the screen even after you die.
The free-to-play battle royale game Warzone also got an update that adds new playlists. Resurgence Duos and Mini Royale Quads are now available in Rebirth Island while Blood Money Quads has been added to Verdansk. There are no gameplay changes to speak of, however.
You can see the full patch notes below, as posted on Treyarch’s website.
