Call Of Duty: Vanguard's PlayStation-Exclusive DLC Won't Come To Xbox And PC Until November 2022

Like the games that came before it, Call of Duty: Vanguard will include PlayStation-exclusive content as part of Activision’s partnership with Sony. The PlayStation version of Vanguard’s launch trailer ended with a stinger that mentioned, “PS player receive bonus content and benefits not available on other platforms” until at least November 1, 2022.

This same language was used in Vanguard’s story trailer previously. The full specifics of what PlayStation fans are getting remains hazy, but CharlieIntel reports that PlayStation users will get two extra Custom Loadouts for Create a Class.

2020’s Black Ops Cold War featured exclusive content on PlayStation as well, including the Zombies Onslaught mode that is staying exclusive to PlayStation until at least November 2021.

For years, Microsoft had a deal with Activision for Call of Duty exclusivity before Sony won it away from the Xbox company starting with Black Ops III in 2015. Every game since then has featured some form of exclusive content on PlayStation, and so did Destiny when it was published by Activision.

Vanguard’s launch trailer hyped up the game’s three main modes–campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies–and it features a brand-new single from Jack White. The launch trailer also confirmed exactly when Vanguard releases in November.
