Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches on November 10, and Activision has provided a full list of the minimum and recommended specs for playing on PC. Here’s everything you need to know about the game’s PC requirements, the announced DLSS 3 support, and more.
The most critical detail to know if you’re looking to play on PC is that you’ll need an SSD to meet even the minimum requirements, and a fair amount of open space. 149GB of available space is required, though if you have CoD HQ and Warzone already installed, you’ll only need an additional 78GB.

Beenox, Call of Duty’s PC lead developer, boasts that players have over 500 customization options in Modern Warfare 3, with 4K graphics and ultrawide support, and a massive array of options across all manner of settings.
One highlight for the PC version of Modern Warfare 3 is Nvidia’s DLSS 3 support, which can help to boost performance without a significant reduction in image quality. DLSS 3 adds frame generation for GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs to further increase frame rates. The game also supports Nvidia Reflex, which reduces system latency to make your gameplay smooth and more responsive.
While Modern Warfare 3 fully launches next week, you can play the campaign as early as November 2 with a digital preorder of the game. Preloading for the campaign is live as of November 1. For more, check out all the preorder deals and bonuses currently available for MW3.
