Activision is sending out mystery packages to select Call of Duty: Warzone content creators to tease the return of the popular Fortune’s Keep Resurgence map for Season 2.
Call of Duty streamer Majin shows off a photo of a wooden Call of Duty crate with a tweet that teased: Season 2 will “KEEP” the vibes going. Once the package was opened, Majin revealed a small model of the map’s Winery point of interest. The model design reveals some sort of landscape changes can be expected, with the ground busted up and splitting through the winery building.
Fortune’s Keep originally arrived in 2022 during Season 4 of Vanguard, serving as the Resurgence map alongside Warzone’s larger Caldera map. Developers at this year’s Call of Duty Next event announced that Fortune’s Keep would return in 2024, but this is the first official confirmation of a timeframe. It’s uncertain yet if the map will return at the start of the new season or during the midseason “Reloaded” update.
Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone launches on February 7, and here’s everything rumored and announced for the big update. Season 1 Reloaded is currently live in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, featuring a crossover event with The Boys TV show.
