Call of Duty: Warzone‘s popular Fortune’s Keep map returns in Season 2, and now a new map trailer reveals it’s arriving with a Ranked Play Resurgence playlist and new Zombies-themed content.
As seen in the trailer below, the island map returns with many similar points of interest, such as winery, castle, and more. Activision’s trailer announcement says the map has “refreshed POIs,” and some structural damage can be seen for the winery and other buildings. It’s possible the damage is due to something related to Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies storyline, as the trailer also shows cyst-like spores and Zombies gameplay featuring Rick and Michonne from The Walking Dead.
Ranked Play was added to multiplayer for Season 1 Reloaded, but Season 2 and Fortune’s Keep’s brings the first Ranked playlist to Warzone since Modern Warfare 3’s integration. More information on Ranked Play details will likely arrive soon.
Season 2 seems heavily themed around Zombies with the introduction of the operation skins for Rick and Michonne. Season 2’s multiplayer trailer confirmed three new 6v6 maps, a new War map, and the return of Hordepoint, Call of Duty’s undead variant of the Hardpoint mode.
