THQ Nordic announced that Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 27. However, these versions will only contain the game’s single-player content and cost $30.
The title for the last-generation versions is aptly called Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed “Single Player” edition. “Even with your primitive technology, you shall be able to grasp a small taste of Furon superiority,” Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Black Forest Games explain in a press release. “This ‘Single Player’ edition does not offer any cooperative multiplayer or other such inferior modes. It is designed for those who prefer to play alone, as true Furon warriors do.”

Now Playing: Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed: Single Player | Announcement Trailer
Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed first launched for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on August 30, 2022. The free multiplayer component was made available in May 2022.
It’s quite rare for games that have launched as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S exclusives to then release on last-generation hardware later. One notable example is Godfall, which was a timed console exclusive for PS5 at launch back in 2020. It then came to PS4 a year later along with the Lightbringer update. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions were added in 2022.
In GameSpot’s original Destroy All Humans! 2 review in 2006, we said, “When it gets right down to it, Destroy All Humans! 2 is the sort of sequel that seems to exist specifically to be a sequel. It’s pretty clear from the nonsensical storyline, constant self-referential humor, and general sameness of play and presentation that this game exists primarily to put another game with Crypto on store shelves.”
