The sixth and final season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone is just weeks away, and data miners are already leaking possible operator skins for the big update. One of the most-recent leaks suggests that Diablo 4 characters could be coming to Call of Duty with an upcoming Halloween event.
As previously reported by CharlieIntel, data miners have potentially found references to Diablo 4’s characters Lilith and Butcher after the most recent game update for Warzone. The crossover is rumored to be happening sometime in Season 6 and during this year’s Halloween-themed “The Haunting” event.

Now Playing: Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone – Official Lara Croft Operator Bundle Gameplay Trailer
Bringing the demons of Diablo isn’t a surprising mashup, especially since both games are published by Activision Blizzard. Other recent leaks suggest the game files also include operator skins for iconic characters such as Spawn, Skeletor, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead, and more. However, nothing has been confirmed by Activision for Season 6’s bundles, so all rumors must be taken with a grain of salt until officially announced.
Call of Duty has been cranking out the fancy operator bundles and major character crossovers, as Lara Croft’s Tomb Raider bundle hit the shop over the weekend, superheroes from The Boys television series appeared in the previous season, and hip hop artists Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, and 21 Savage are all currently available in the shop.
As Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 wraps up with the upcoming season, make sure to check out all our highlights of major announcements for Modern Warfare 3, including campaign details, multiplayer maps, Zombies, and more.
