Over the years, Lego has gone from Gotham to Hogwarts for its licensed sets, but at long last, Arrakis is in the spotlight. This particular set is aimed at adults and has 1,369 pieces that can be used to build the signature vehicle of House Atreides, which received significant screen time in the first Dune film. The Ornithopter aircraft has foldout flappable wings and deployable landing gear, and when fully constructed it measures over 9 inches high, 22 inches long, and 31 inches wide.
This will make a fantastic display piece once completed, and it’s just complex enough to create an enjoyable building experience that Lego fans will appreciate.
The set also comes with eight minifigures. Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho are all included, but the standout here is Baron Harkonnen and his incredibly long robe that allows him to tower over everyone. While Dune Part 2 has been delayed to March 15, 2024, you can still get a great deal on a beautiful collector’s set of Dune novels.
Normally $150, the box set is on sale for only $63.30 and features deluxe hardcover editions of the original trilogy of books packaged inside of a stunning slipcase with exclusive art. Alternatively, you can grab six Dune novels for for only $45.71 in this paperback box set.
