The final trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade has dropped ahead of its June 10th release, confirming not only a few new faces but also how long PlayStation 5 owners will have the game all to themselves.
The trailer reveals Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be a PlayStation 5 console exclusive for at least six months after its release, making December 10 the first possible date the game could appear on other consoles.
A brand new minigame called Fort Condor is also shown, a tactical board game with tanks and other battle units that directly references a similar section of the original Final Fantasy VII.
The thunder-based summons Ramuh also reemerges in Final Fantasy VII Intergrade, with a massive thunderbolt crashing down onto the battlefield. Enemies new and old were highlighted as well including Nero–who the official press release describes as “a member of the elite unit within Deepground known as the Tsviets”–and Shinra Director of Advanced Weaponry Division Scarlet.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade brings the game to the PlayStation 5 with upscaled graphics and 60 FPS support. It also includes a side story, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission, which stars the Wutai ninja Yuffie Kisaragi and her companion Sonon as they battle through Midgar looking to steal a valuable Materia.
