Fortnite’s metaverse grew earlier this year when it added DC’s Batman to the game, as well as a few other Gotham City regulars. Never one to miss an opportunity, DC Comics tapped writer Christos Gage and artist Reilly Brown to chronicle the crossover in the six-part miniseries Batman/Fortnite: Zeropoint, which also featured concept and story consultation from chief creative officer of Epic Games, Donald Mustard.
That series has been collected into a trade paperback that will be released on September 7, and will include all of the items that were included with the single-issue releases as well as the Armored Batman Zero Point Outfit that was previously only unlocked if you bought all six issues. Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point kicks off with a mysterious reality-threatening crack appearing in the Gotham City sky, which pulls Batman and several other DC faces into it. Waking up in the world of Fortnite with no memory, the tale details how Batman fights his way out of the strange new reality that he finds himself trapped in. DC will also be celebrating Batman Day on September 18 with a reprint of Batman / Fortnite: Zero Print’s first issue.
