Epic Games has unveiled a new limited-time mode for Fortnite, making good on the Mandalorian teaser it issued yesterday. The new LTM is called Mando’s Bounty, and emerging victorious from it will earn you a special piece of Mando-themed kit. It will be available from now through February 9 at 9 AM ET.
According to the announcement, you can play Mando’s Bounty in solo or squads. In the LTM, you’ll get a target player on your Bounty Puck, and eliminating them (or any other opponents) will earn you galactic credits. Each player starts with three lives, and once you collect the requisite credit goal, you’ll win the match. The announcement also notes that Hunters will be targeting you, so eliminating them first will grant you good loot along with credits. A new Kit’s cantina structure is also available, which you can find in the desert.
Getting Victory Royale in the Mando’s Bounty mode will grant you a Beskar Umbrella. The special umbrella bears a clan signet.
This comes as the season has introduced special quests to unlock a Mando skin, part of the game’s overall mash-up of pop culture properties. Epic just recently added Snake Eyes from GI Joe as well.
