The battle royale game Fortnite‘s newest big update–v15.40–has finally arrived. The patch brings new features and functionality, but also some known issues you may want to be aware of. You can see a roundup of what’s new in Fortnite below, as shared by Epic Games.
New Weapon:
In terms of new content, the update brings back a fan-favorite weapon. The super-powerful Flint-Knock pistol is back in the game with this new update.
New PC Features
On PC, the new 15.40 update introduces the ability to adjust the build/object level of detail for the PC Performance Mode. “This can be done via the new Meshes quality option in the video settings,” Epic Games said. You can find this when Performance Mode is switched on.
PC Crashes
The release of 15.40 hasn’t been entirely smooth sailing, however, as Epic Games said it’s aware of crashes happening in Creative mode on PC. The studio said it will circle back with an update later as it continues to investigate the issue.

Version 15.40 also introduces more Exotics to acquire, while the Air Royale and Floor is Lava limited-time modes are coming “soon” to Fornite.
