Forza Horizon 4 Delists In December, But It's On Sale Right Now

Developer Playground Games has announced that Forza Horizon 4 will be delisted on December 15. The DLC has already been delisted, which includes several car packs and both Lego Speed Champions and Fortune Mountain expansions.

Playground Games said that going forward, only the Forza Horizon 4 Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions will be available for purchase until December. Additionally, different discounts will be provided, and it’s currently 80% off on Steam, dropping its price to just $12.

When December 15 comes around, Forza Horizon 4 will also be removed from Xbox Game Pass, along with its complete delisting from digital storefronts such as the Microsoft Store and Steam. However, those who already own the game can continue to play it as normal. The online servers are not going to be shut down, and all multiplayer and offline features will still be playable.

Players with active and fully paid Game Pass subscriptions on June 25 are eligible to receive a game token if they’ve purchased any extra content for Forza Horizon 4. Forza Horizon games have been delisted in the past, typically as a result of music licenses expiring. This last happened with Forza Horizon 3 in 2020.

Forza Horizon 4 was released in 2018 for PC and Xbox One. In GameSpot’s Forza Horizon 4 review, we said, “Playground Games continues to master the art of driving games that are both accessible and complex, and Horizon 4’s numerous meaningful changes keep the series lively and looking fantastic.”
