Now Playing: Mecha BREAK – Official Cinematic Gameplay Trailer | Gamescom 2024

The game is set in the distant future after a huge cataclysmic event called “The Catastrophe” has all but destroyed Earth and has seen survivors battle each other over control of a dangerous material called Eruptive Inorganic Carbide that emerged following the planet-wide devastation.

The studio is aiming to launch Mecha Break in 2025, although it’ll be landing in a very crowded market for multiplayer games. In addition to established games like Overwatch 2 and Valorant, it’ll have to contend with new challengers like Marvel Rivals and Concord, which also feature distinctive spins on team-based combat.

Mecha Break could stand apart from the pack with its selection of heavily armed mechs for players to pilot, and if 6v6 multiplayer isn’t to your liking, you can also try out the game’s battle-royale mode, which has space for up to 48 players to duke it out in all-out warfare and see who’ll be the last machine standing.
