Disney has rolled out a pretty generous discount on its streaming service as part of its Disney+ Day festivities. Until 11:59 PM PT on November 14, Disney is now allowing new and “eligible” returning subscribers to get their first month on the streaming service for $2 in the USA.
As Disney+ Day draws closer on November 12, the studio is increasingly lifting the curtain on additional announcements. That day was recently announced to also be the release date of Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings–and also recently was revealed as the day Disney+ is giving 13 Marvel movies an IMAX Expanded Aspect Ratio format visual upgrade. All this, in addition to the already expected new and exclusive content hitting Disney+ on November 12, including first-looks, new trailers, and exclusive clips for upcoming Disney+ content by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and so on.
Disney+’s Twitter account is a great reliable source to pay attention to for future announcements. November 12 is only a few days away, but Disney has been very busy coming up with new reasons to give Disney+ a shot if you haven’t already subscribed. Note that after the limited time offer of $2 for your first month as a subscriber, the fee will then rise to $8 per month.
Eternals, the most recent Marvel superhero movie, took in $161.7 million worldwide over the weekend.
