Godzilla Vs Kong Trailer Will Be Released On Sunday

The full trailer for Godzilla vs Kong will be released this Sunday, January 24. The much-anticipated monster movie arrives in March and this will be the first proper look at the film.

The news of the trailer was announced on Twitter by Legendary Pictures, which produced the movie. The tweet didn’t specify what time the trailer will be with us, but it did include a cool new poster, which shows Godzilla heading through the sea towards Kong. Check it out below:

The movie hits theaters around the world on March 26 and will also be on HBO Max in the US on that day. It was originally set to be released in May, but has been brought forward following negotiations between Legendary and distributors Warner. The latter’s decision to put all of its 2021 movies on HBO Max on the same day they hit theaters has been an extremely controversial one, and in December, it led to Legendary threatening legal action.

Godzilla vs Kong stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Alexander Skarsgård, Rebecca Hall, Zhang Ziyi, Brian Tyree Henry, and Demián Bichir. It’s directed by Adam Wingard (Death Note, The Guest), and is the fourth movie in MonsterVerse, following Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019).

Godzilla vs Kong isn’t the only Legendary movie that Warner is releasing this year. The sci-fi epic Dune is currently set for an October release, although Deadline recently reported that negotiations are continuing over whether that will also hit HBO Max. Director Denis Villeneuve has been very outspoken about the fact he wants people to see the movie on the big screen.
