GTA Online Adds Big New Mode Assault On Cayo Perico

Grand Theft Auto Online has added a big new mode with its newest update. Assault on Cayo Perico is the game’s latest adversary mode, and it’s set on the gorgeous tropical island of Cayo Perico.

One team attacks and tries to hack into a computer terminal, while the defenders try to stop them until the clock runs out. Attackers begin on the airfield and then must make their way through the docks before they arrive at the compound that holds the computer terminal.

Everyone who plays Assault on Cayo Perico this week will earn double GTA$ and RP. Players can jump into the mode by visiting the blip near Los Santos International Airport. Alternatively, players can simply launch the mode via Quick Join from the iFruit app.

Cayo Perico was the site of the game’s Cayo Perico Heist, which Rockstar said was the biggest and best heist mission in the game ever.

In addition to the arrival of Assault on Cayo Perico, this week’s GTA Online update introduces a weaponized version of the Conada helicopter. It is outfitted with two machine guns and missile launchers. “Politicians will try to regulate it out of existence, but the cat is out of the bag, feral, and armed to the teeth with military-grade firepower to subdue all threats,” Rockstar said.

Players can buy the weaponized Conada at Warstock Cache & Carry.

As usual, a bunch of items are discounted in GTA Online this week, including upgrades, weapons, and more. Here is a rundown of what’s on sale this week:
