In addition to announcing the release date for GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Rockstar Games revealed on Friday that the new versions of GTA: San Andreas and GTA III will get standalone releases that will be made available through subscription libraries on Xbox and PlayStation.
GTA San Andreas’ upgraded edition will launch day one on Xbox Game Pass on November 11, while GTA III’s new version will come to PlayStation Now on December 7.

Rockstar did not say if Vice City’s upgraded edition will be offered as a standalone release, either through a subscription service or on its own. Additionally, Rockstar did not say if any of the three games in the package will be sold inidividually for sale.
GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launches digitally on November 11 for $60 on all platforms. It includes upgraded versions of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas featuring GTA V-inspired controls, and was developed by Grove Street Games, the developer formerly known as War Drum Studios that worked on a handful of GTA mobile ports.

According to a report, if these games are successful, Rockstar might release an updated version of the original Red Dead Redemption. And all of this is happening as Rockstar works on GTA 6, which may feature a Fortnite-style evolving map, according to a report.
In other news, a new edition of the celebrated and massively popular open-world game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It was originally slated to launch in November before Rockstar shifted it to early next year.
