Now Playing: History Of Halo

Overall, Schreiber said he believes the Halo TV series is a “huge hit” and on its way to becoming a “worldwide phenomenon” when it rolls out to more countries in the coming weeks.

Schreiber also had a message for fans of the series who waited patiently for the show to come together, while he had some words for the doubters, too.

“To all the fans who have been waiting for this moment for so long and to the newcomers who have responded with such overwhelming support and love, I am honored and humbled to be in service to this amazing universe and lore,” he said. “For all the ‘fans’ rooting against the home team, who hated the show before they saw it and disagree with what we are doing, I respect your opinion and I love you too. Because the truth is, we love the same thing. And I will keep working my ass off each and every day to make this show the best version of itself, to bring attention and respect to this Halo universe we love. For all of us…”

The Halo TV show’s debut episode is streaming now for free on YouTube, but you’ll need a Paramount+ membership to watch the rest. New episodes premiere weekly on Thursdays.

Critics have responded generally positively to the series so far, with Entertainment editor Chris Hayner’s review of the show saying that it “has created an interesting new way of exploring the Halo franchise” that “stands on its own, away from the games.”

If you like what you see, you might be excited to hear that the series has already been renewed for Season 2, though showrunner Steven Kane is dropping out.
