Humble just launched a new graphic novel bundle featuring 70 volumes in Mike Mignola’s long-running comic book series. The full bundle gets you 36 items for $30, but one of those items contains 35 books on its own–so, yes, this is a lot of reading material for only $30. All of the books are delivered as PDF files. Lower-priced bundles with a smaller selection of books are available, too, but the full bundle offers the best value by far. Humble’s Hellboy Universe bundle is available until October 10.
If you prefer physical books, Amazon has a great deal on the Hellboy Omnibus, a deluxe box set of four Hellboy graphic novels for just $54 (down from $100).
The Hellboy Omnibus compiles the following four books in one slipcase: Seed of Destruction, Strange Places, The Wild Hunt, and Hellboy in Hell. The four paperback volumes add up to 1,600 pages of Hellboy stories, and the slipcase features exclusive art drawn by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and colored by fan-favorite illustrator Dave Stewart.
Each one of these graphic novels contain a chunky collection of Hellboy’s adventures, and in addition to Mignola leading the visual and narrative charge, Duncan Fegredo, Richard Corben, and Stewart also contribute to these comic book tales of suspense. What you’re getting is a collection of cult-classic Hellboy adventures that look fantastic on a shelf and are even better to read.
While you’re picking up the Hellboy Omnibus, you should also check out Hellboy Artists Collection. Horror master Richard Corben contributed to the Hellboy mythos with several stories, and in this oversized book, you can sit back and read spooky stories like The Crooked Man, Makoma, House of the Living Dead, and more. The Hellboy Artists Collection is an oversized hardcover with a cloth spin and foil cover. It released earlier this year and is currently on sale for $35 (was $50) at Amazon.
