Players will soon be able to serve the Emperor of Mankind and slay heretics on his behalf when Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 releases next week. Some can start playing a little earlier–right now, in fact–if they purchase the game’s premium versions. Here’s everything you need to know about Space Marine 2 early access, when it starts, and when you’ll be able to start pre-loading the game.

Pre-loading availability
Those playing on the Xbox Series X|S can start pre-loading Space Marine 2 now, no matter which version of the game they purchased. Those who purchased the Gold or Ultra edition for PlayStation 5 can also start pre-loading it now. However, if they purchase the standard edition on PlayStation 5, pre-loading will be available on September 7 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET.
Those playing on PC will not be able to pre-load Space Marine 2. You can check out the recommended PC specs for Space Marine 2 to see what kind of hardware you’ll need once it’s available.
Early access for PC
Those who purchased the Gold or Ultra edition will have full access to the game on September 5 or 6, depending on where they live. Below is a list of when it’ll be available–the game should now be live for those who are eligible.
September 5

September 6

Early access for console
Like their PC counterparts, console players will also have early access to Space Marine II if they purchase the Gold or Ultra edition on September 5 and 6, but the times will vary slightly. Below is a list of when it’ll go live, but it should be available now on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
September 5

Standard release for console and PC
Players who purchased the game standard edition will have access to the game next on September 9 and September 10. Below is a list of when it’ll go live.
