The Split Pad Compact Attachment Set comes in three styles: gray, lavender, and an officially licensed Pokemon model featuring Eevee and their various evolutions. The solid colors cost $80, while the Pokemon-themed model goes for $90. The Pokemon edition releases September 7, while the lavender and gray models arrive on October 8.
Besides the new variants, the Split Pad Compact is the same great design as before–it’s a compact handheld controller with taller analog sticks, rear triggers, turbo functionality, and everything else you’d expect from a premium controller. But the Attachment Set is a new accessory that lets you turn the Split Pad Compact into a traditional, wired controller.

After attaching the two Hori Split Pad Compact controllers to the Attachment Set, you’ll be able to enjoy a wired connection to your console.
Unfortunately, the Attachment Set isn’t being sold as a standalone accessory. That means anyone who already owns a Split Pad Compact can’t just buy the Attachment Set to turn their controller into a wired gamepad–instead they’ll need to opt for the entire bundle listed above.
