Now Playing: Resident Evil 4 Remake Video Review

There are other ways to pass the time, too. For instance, Resident Evil 4 received an adorable anime starring Leon. It’s produced by Japanese studio Nippon Animation, and while it looks cute, the shorts are also pretty gruesome.

In addition to Xbox Series X|S, Resident Evil 4 is also releasing on PC, PS4, and PS5. The survival-horror remake has seen high-scored reviews so far, with GameSpot sister site Metacritic averaging it out to a 93 from 104 reviews. That’s top-tier.

GameSpot’s Resident Evil 4 review highly praised the remake, as well. Writer Kurt Indovina said the game “raises the bar for what a good remake is and at the same time, preserves Resident Evil 4’s legacy as a genre-defining experience and one of the greatest games of all time.”
