Lego Is Teasing A Collaboration With D&D

After years of making Dungeons and Dragons (D&D)-adjacent builds and minifigs, it appears that Lego will now collaborate with D&D to make official sets.

The news comes from the official Lego X/Twitter account, where it posted a video of a Gelatinous Cube, an iconic D&D monster, consuming various legos. The post reads:

“Time to party up. We’re oozing with anticipation! Are you ready to build awesome adventures? #LEGODnD”

Even though the video doesn’t show much regarding what consumers can expect, it’s safe to assume that the upcoming partnership will feature some D&D monsters. Currently, no date has been announced as to when the collaboration will hit shelves.

Although this may be the first official D&D collaboration, Lego has made multiple original sets that fit the high fantasy genre. Some of these include the Lego Minifigures Series 13 set, which features a Goblin that looks like it’s straight out of Baldur’s Gate 3, as well as a generic King. In addition to that set, there was also the Lion Knights’ Castle build. As the name suggests, it’s a giant castle with various minifigs, including a wizard and another musician who can easily pass as a Bard.
