Why get your hands dirty digging up fossils from 65 million years ago when you can easily construct an exhibit to the Jurassic era with Lego? The Lego Jurassic Park Visitor Center set is now available to order, and for $90 (normally $130), you get not only a cute tribute to one of the locations in the landmark, but also all the parts you need to reconstruct a mighty showdown in this Black Friday deal.
Spoilers for anyone who hasn’t seen the film since it was first released 30 years ago, but the T-Rex wins the fight against the Velociraptors in that movie and gets a moment in the spotlight that is nothing short of iconic.
Rebuilding that moment will require you to assemble 693 pieces for the Jurassic Park location, which is full of tourist attractions. Inside you’ll find a lab with a buildable microscope and dinosaur egg incubator, a T-Rex skeleton, a kitchen area for some fine dining, and you can even make the visitor center banner fall on the victorious T-Rex.
In addition to the mighty dinosaur king and a Velociraptor, you’ll also get mini-figures of Dr. Ellie Sattler, Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Henry Wu, Lex and Tim Murphy, and Ray Arnold. This particular Lego set hits a sweet spot for complexity and size. It’s not too big or complex, so you can easily have a fun afternoon building it and then find a nice spot to display it afterward.
If you want to expand your dinosaur zoo, you can also pick up the Lego Jurassic World Baryonyx Face-Off: The Treasure Hunt set. This box of Lego lets you build an off-road vehicle, a trailer with a detailed interior, a jungle scene with hidden treasure and a Baryonyx dinosaur.
