Build-a-Bear’s latest franchise is The Lord of the Rings. The teddy bear company has announced a new Lord of the Rings collection, including bear versions of Frodo and Gandalf. There is also a very cute Gollum toy and a plush toy modeled after Sting.
The Frodo and Gandalf bears sell for $30, while it costs another $28 to complete their costumes. The Gollum toy is $15 and the Sting replica is $6 without any extras. Unfortunately, Gollum and Sting are sold out already.
The Frodo costume includes his trademark cloak and Hobbit feet to attach to his paws. It also has five voice lines from the movies, including, “Whatever you did, you’ve been officially labeled a disturber of the peace” and “I will take the ring to Mordor, though I do not know the way,” and “I know what I must do.”
Gandalf’s bear, meanwhile, comes with his grey clothing, along with voice lines such as, “A wizard is never late…,” “You shall not pass,” and “Fly, you fools.” He also says one of his more poetic and philosophical lines, “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
