Mission: Impossible 7 And 8 Add New Cast Members, Including Cary Elwes

The next Mission: Impossible movies have added more big names to their cast. Director Christopher McQuarrie announced on Instagram that the following actors have come aboard for the sequels:

Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride)Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2)Mark Gatiss (Sherlock)Indira Varma (Game of Thrones)Charles Parnell (The Last Ship)

McQuarrie, who wrote the scripts for the new Mission: Impossible movies, did not provide any details on the characters that these actors will play in the action movie sequels.

Mission: Impossible 7 is scheduled to release in cinemas on November 19, 2021, with the sequel on the schedule for November 4, 2022. It was recently reported that the movies will no longer film back-to-back, but what impact this has on the release dates–if any–remains to be seen.

The new cast joins the existing lineup of actors that include Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and Esai Morales as the villain.

As part of a new deal, Mission: Impossible 7 will come to Paramount+ 45 days after it releases in theaters.
